Josiah Smith

Josiah, or Coach Smith as the team calls him, has been coaching for 14 years now. 7 Years as a head coach! Currently he is the Pueblo Wrestling Head Coach. When we asked him why he loves to coach Josiah said, ”I coach to give back to the kids, as well as the Pueblo Wrestling Program. I wrestled here as a kid, and now my daughter wrestles here. I want to create a positive impact like the one I received while wrestling here. Helping kids realize their potential is why I love coaching.”

Jonathan Igbinovia

Jonathan Igbinovia is a Nigerian former professional tennis player. A native of Lagos, Igbinovia had a best singles world ranking of 461 and competed for the Nigeria Davis Cup team from 1998 to 2007, registering 31 overall wins. Currently, he is a tennis coach right here in Tucson, AZ.

Mike Perkins

Varsity Basketball Coach / Caballeros

Mike Perkins, a U of A alumni and Tucson resident since college, is dedicated to his family and community. With his wife, Amanda, and their two boys, Bram and Wilson, he’s been coaching the Lady Caballeros varsity basketball team for 18 years, guiding them to multiple state appearances and paving the way for college opportunities.

Landyn Lewis

Assistant Golf Coach / Pima Community College

Bravo to Coach Landyn Lewis, for being nominated as our Dental Pros coach of the month. Coach Lewis, recently won the 2022 Southwest Section PGA Player Development Award. Landyn Lewis is also the assistant golf coach at Pima Community College.
